Closed doors are painful, but they are not always punishment. Sometimes God closes a door because He is preparing you for one that no human hand could open. When His timing arrives, the same circumstances that once resisted you will suddenly yield.
I have lived long enough in ministry to see men and women stand before doors that seemed permanently shut — finances, relationships, opportunities, healing, restoration — and then, in a moment of divine sovereignty, those doors opened wide. Not because they forced their way through, but because God turned the key.
Faith does not deny the reality of a closed door. Faith declares that God is still Lord over every door. While you wait, keep your character intact. Keep your integrity clean. Keep your praise alive. Doors opened by God are sustained by God.
If you are standing before a shut door today, do not despair. The One who holds the keys is watching over you. What He opens, no adversary can close. Stand in faith, stay in grace, and prepare yourself for the entrance He is about to grant.
